Portugal Day Seven

Our last day in Portugal was spent packing and organizing for the long trip to Spain on Sunday.
Peter and I went out for a walk around the costal nature preserve in Sao Martinho do Porto.
This hike included a nearly vertical sand hill which Peter did make it up with a few stops to take
in the view. We pressed on through the pine forest to a beautiful view of the atlantic and the coast line.
Sunday morning we piled into the car for the eight hour drive to Valle de Abdalajis Spain.
I left Portugal wishing we could have stayed longer and looking forward to coming back again soon.

Portugal Day Six

We spent Friday wokring on our tans and playing in the pool. I stopped in Foz do Arelho to take a few photos
of some beautiful deteriorating paint on the side of a building. Later that afternoon I went out to take some
photos in the nature preserve in Sao Martinho de Porto.  We haven't left Portugal but I am already missing it
our house rental and its location are just perfect. This part of the Silver Coast of Portugal is what Southern California
must have been like in the 20's an 30's. I hope to some day buy a house along the coast here.

Portugal Day Five

Took the morning off from sight seeing on Thursday to enjoy the pool and the sun. I went out to take some photos of some
of the fishing boats in Foz do Arelho.  Later in the afternoon we made another trip into Lisbon to see the Castle of São Jorge
 and have diner.
