The Last Days

I am writing this on the last night of our trip. We leave for Manchester Airport at 7AM tomorrow morning to catch our
flight back to Newark. I can't believe how quickly the six months has passed. Peter and Townes have been great traveling
companions.  I think that we learned a lot from this trip and would do things very differently if we are ever able to go on a
long trip like this again.

North Wet England

We arrived back in England on July 5th. It has been over cast and raining since we arrived.  Erica's brother Eddie
travelled with us from Austria back to Ghyllwood Lodge. We were very surprised and happy to see that some of
the seeds we planted before our trip to Italy were now producing sweet peas, green beans and brussel sprout. This
was all due to Grandmother's hard work transplanting and nurturing the seedlings. Peter is a big fan of the peas
splitting open the pods and eating them when every he gets the chance.  Eddie cut down a few trees while he was
here and Peter and Townes helped drag some of the branches over to the bonfire. I have had very few opportunities
to go out and take photos with the ugly weather. We naively expected it to be warm here in Northwestern England
in July not so far.
