Flying Boats

On Wednesday we took the boys down to Lake Trasimeno to play by the lake.
While there we saw an amphibious glider/boat which both Peter and I thought
was very cool and we both wanted to know how we could get one and or fly one
soon. The glider boat was part of a Kite festival at a near by park. So we plan to
take the boys to the festival once it starts.

Firenze

Yesterday we took a long over due drive into Florence. We were told there was no
where to park there but decided to try our luck anyway and found a parking spot
right away. We then walked around had lunch and decided that we have to come
back once a week until we leave.

Picnic & Poppies

Yesterday I dropped Peter and Erica off at the market and took Townes out
to take some pictures of poppies. We then drove up above Cortona to a little
park to have lunch under a cluster of pine trees.

Down in the Valley

Yesterday I went out and tried to take some photos in the valley below Cortona.
It can be difficult to find landscapes that don't included lots of telephone and
electrical wires.  After I got back from taking photos we drove over to Cortona
so the boys could play at the park. We had a very crowded walk through the town
which had it's usual Sunday market.

Gelato & June

The boys and I are starting to get over our colds. The weather is starting to warm up
which is nice. We finally booked a rental car for June we have still yet to rent houses
for the last three weeks of June. We are hoping we will be able to get that taken care
of before the end of the month.

No Ganck You

Yesterday Peter and I took a long drive out toward Montalcino. On the drive Peter
tried to tell me in the most plain and simple way he could that he spoke to Townsie
about his birthday cake and when he asked Townsie if he wanted any cake  Townes
response was "No ganck you".  Pete is very concerned about his brother eating all or
any of his birthday cake.

This last week has mostly been spent on the hill trying to recover from the ugly cold
that Peter, Townes and I caught on our trip down to the coast. We have had lots of time
to plan and organize ourselves for June which is happening slowly.
