Easter Sunday we awoke to a very cold and rainy morning. Peter and Townes came down stairs and
wanted to start looking for eggs right away, so began our two day Easter egg hunting odyssey.
We were invited to a pot luck lunch at a stable near by. The lunch was literally in the
stable with dogs, cats, chickens and ducks wandering around as we ate and of course horses
in their stalls. The boys loved seeing all of the animals, and it was a memorable Easter
lunch for its length and coldness. We were also invited to an Easter egg hunt for Sunday
which was postponed until Monday. After two Easter egg hunts in the pouring rain I
was delighted that Easter was finally behind us.
