Yesterday we took a long drive out to Forte dei Marmi. The boys were so happy
to get out of the car they kissed the ground. Townes followed this up by putting
ever stranger things in his mouth, sand, a six feet long piece of bamboo that washed
up on the shore.
Forte dei Marmi is a beautiful beach town which reminded me of Venice Beach a little.
There are a near endless number of nice clothing stores there sadly we couldn't afford
to buy anything on this trip. We may go and spend the night there next week.
