Siena

It has become pretty cold here and snow has been predicted for the
next few days.  We were a bit  hasty in booking our house rental
for this trip because the price was so low. We really didn't take
the time to read the fine print about a wood burning furnace
being the only source of heat for the house. I am now in charge
of keeping our own little Olympic flame burning. Which at first
was a major pain in the ass but has started to grow on me.

Today we drove over the hills to the valley south of us to
look  at an old ruin of a castle do to screaming children
I wasn't able to really take any photos of it or get the name of
the town. Will have to go back.

We then launched ourselves onto the Autostrada (A1) in our
little white mountain car. We were cruising along at 100 kilometers
per hour and were regularly past by people going around 200.
Our car is great for climbing the hill to the house not so great on
the (A1).  We arrived in Siena and had a little trouble translating
the parking sings as neither my wife nor I speak any Italian.
Soon after we parked the temperature dropped so we didn't
get much of a chance to see the city.  On the way back up the
hill there was a lot of wind and some snow flurries.
