Left Venice yesterday morning and drove straight through to Lugano.
Lugano is just across the border from Italy and is stunningly beautiful.
We were a little stunned to find that everything including sliced tomatoes
in a bowl was $20 and up. We plan to cross the border into Lake Como
in search of more reasonably priced dinning options.
I just love pulling up to a fancy resort hotel in our sputtering filthy inside
and out Saxo. Mercifully they didn't force us to valet it.
